Rough and steep for the first mile heading south and then it is pretty smooth. Fun ride with beautiful overlooks. Plenty of spur trails that are tougher for some fun along the way.

Amazing view. Easy trail. Could be a bit bumpy in the beginning. There are two mesa that require some more off road capability vehicle. The main road is really flat and easy. Did it after Zion national park. Great view.

6/1/19 great scenic trail leading into Zion. Plenty of spots to camp even on a busy weekend that I went. The last leg of the trail before the bridge is absolutely stunning. Pictures don’t do justice. There were some rough spots on the trail due to dried up rain/mud I think, but nothing overly complicated that required 4wd. I saw some Subarus drive by my camping spot so I don’t think high clearance is necessary either. Just expect some spots to be pretty bumpy.

Beautiful camping spot with great views and soft sand for tents. Road is a little rough, has large ruts and some rocks, however with some off-road experience and going slow could make it in most cars. Once you reach the top of the butte the road is groomed and much better. Drove without problems in a RAV4.

Easy trail using a stock Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4x4 rented in Las Vegas. We saw this was a BLM backway to Zion, started it off 59 and headed north. I recommend this to anyone headed to Zion - it's almost the entire view when approaching the canyon - beautiful! We drove this trail leaving Zion, too... also scenic but not as breathtaking as heading from the south to the north.

Fun off road trail for trucks or all-terrain vehicles. There are numerous side routes that are narrow for a full-size truck but do-able. Main road was a piece of cake, a sedan could make it, but still fun! I would recommend for a quick afternoon ride.

Really Liked This Trail. We went up a section with a Very Steep and Very Rocky Incline. Thankfully I had just gotten a Lift, Beefier Suspension and 32's. Slapped my vehicle in 4LO and had some fun!! And we pulled off the trail for the night for some remote camping after taking in the views. Super Fresh Air after a short rain made it all the more enjoyable. And VERY FEW tourists. Thumbs Up !!

It's along a dirt road so be ready for a dirt bath every time someone drives by! It has beautiful view points all along the trail.

The north end of this trail starts in Rockville off of Hwy 9. Cross the Virgin River and after you turn off the Grafton road, the trail get rough and steep. Once you get on top of the ridge, the road improves dramatically. Nice view of Zion at the top of the ridge..
