This hike had beautiful views of the Kodachrome basin. Loved the red stone colors against the lush trees in the basin, spectacular contrast. The arch was pretty cool. The hike itself was easy and the path was well marked. It has a few side paths/trails that you can explore if you have the time and are eager for more views. It’s one of the hikes that’s a bit away from the other trails and so it’s kind of secluded, not much traffic. The road to the trail head is a dirt road, it was a bit rough (wash board type) in some sections but could totally be passable by a sedan, no 4x4 needed.
