I approached this one early in the morning. I am not a serious climber (more of a hiker) and am not comfortable with sections over a class 3 and the 'nipple' on Separation Point was just a bit beyond what I was willing to try. If you enjoy difficult technical climbs you may approach the Point from the east, otherwise I'd advise approaching from the west were the climb is an easier class 3. Since it was mid-May there were wildflowers in abundance and diversity. The views in Zion are amazing where ever you are but this trail has some great views. There is a small pulloff where you can park right where the trail turns south if you'd like to park there rather than the short walk along the road. Happy trails!
