the trail was good, only a few icy patches near the saddle.

I just finished this trail - I went a little further towards emerald lake but decided to turn back around. I definitely love how many times you can interact with the water features. it's pretty moderate for someone who does some hiking, definitely recommend comfortable shoes and plenty of water. some shade to be had in many places but sun exposure too, so come prepared. the trail itself can be narrow in spots and it was pretty well trafficked so some passing might eek some people out, bring your masks! also, so lots of pocket gophers, great birds and even saw a moose up at the valley!

Beautiful trail with amazing views all the way up. Trail incline is pretty moderate until the top, where there is more of a scramble. Snow fields are totally doable with good shoes. It’s definitely at least 7 to the top, we tracked 15 total.

Beautiful hike but some signs on the way would have been nice. There is a part where you can go right or left and no sign. There is a log on the left but you will take a right. Then you come to another fork. You should go left.

It’s a reallly small trail that started to get very busy so if you’re trying to social distance, I’d suggest going early in the morning. Beautiful views and not too steep or hard.

Short not too steep. Pretty wildflowers and beautiful scenery along the way. My Garmin only had me at 1.7 miles up to scout falls, so 3.4 miles RT if you only hike to the waterfall and back down. We hiked Timp trail up a bit to get a longer hike in. The views just get more beautiful the higher you go.

It was a beautiful day today up on Timp. The trail has a few patches of snow left on the ascent up to the saddle. Trekking poles were helpful. I brought my micro spikes, but I didn't use them. Most all the snow is gone in the floor of the upper basin. The flowers are growing but not in full bloom yet up in the upper basin. They are blooming down on the giant staircase and below. Enjoy. I estimate all will be in full bloom in a couple weeks. I'm planning to go back up then to see it.

Amazing hike! First time hiking/summiting and it was well worth the soul sucking 15 miles. Also, yes, this trail is 15 miles, not 12.9. Be careful of the snow fields leading up to the saddle - they are absolutely sketchy and will require traction devices and poles; a girl literally slipped and fell down the slope in front of me and barely made it out without severe injury.

Great hike! Up at the switchbacks before the saddle there was some snow on the trail. We watched two people slide off the trail and down the edge! Crampons/micro spikes recommended!! Poles gave some good stability too!

Awesome trail...made it to 10,000 feet and turned around due to timing/late start and some snow. We’ll be back when the snow melts. Great views and small waterfalls along the way. On the way down, we came upon a huge bull moose...about 6 feet away initially...and we slowly backed away. Watched him feed on the Aspen trees for 15-20 minutes. Amazing sight!

This trail is absolutely beautiful. I would say that it should be considered easy however it's the elevation (harder to breathe) that makes this trail moderate.
