Our favorite hike in Arches. Varied geography and fun return between the campground and the Sandy Arch parking lot.

WalkingGreat!

Easy hikes! Took four little kids and they loved these arches. Broken Arch is a bit further but such an amazing arch. Sand Dune Arch is a shaded playground that kids and adults will love!

Would be a great hike to backpack! Or simply stay at campground and hike with easy access. Mostly a sandy trail.

No shade

This is a great short hike for kids. There is very Little shade on the hike to broken arch. I wish more hikers would respect social distancing and bring a mask or wear a handy bandana around your neck. They are the perfect trail accessory especially in the sun and wind.

SUPER WINDY DUST STORM . and then a calm mile walk to the broken arch. both are pretty cool, but beware of the high winds and sand storms while at the sand dunes arch.

Good trail even after some heavy rain night before. Trail goes through arch which can be difficult for some, but can stay on hard stone and go around.

Sand Dune Arch is easy but there are plenty of opportunities for scrambling around the trail. Broken Arch has to be one of the best trails in the park, good showcase of various types of formations.

Nice shorter hike but with a shorter hike more people. well worth taking the trail through the broken arch was able to get better pictures from the back side and not as many people on that side. Most of the day was in the high teens for tempature.

This was an easy flat hike. The arch was really cool and it felt like you were in an Indiana Jones movie when you entered the rock enclosure. There was lots of sand once you got inside the rock enclosure. This is well worth your time.

Hiked from our campsite along the Broken Arch Trail to Sand Dune Arch, it's another great arch, this one is surrounded by sandstone walls in a bed of soft sand
