Loved our long hike - a little hot at first but levels out nicely and got some cooling rain for the last 2 miles, which was great!

Really nice day out with the dogs. Lots of ways around the mountain and the trails are a little hard to follow. We’re kits of bikes out, but great place for dogs.

If you are trying to follow this specific trail follow signs for Rambler, then round valley express, then Matt’s flat, camys, then Matt’s flat again until you get to where you started and see rambler again. Once you get on the trail a sign says “now entering off leash area”. It was a blast, and my dogs loved it too. Bring lots of water and come early because there’s no shade. We ended up taking a different shortcut trail down because it was too hot for the pups, but we will definitely be back.

Great place for an easy hike if you're just getting back in shape and don't want to tackle the harder hikes just yet! There are a lot of paths that you can take and explore and the area is very open. We saw a lot of bikers on the trails but the main paths are wide enough that you can share the road easily. There isn't a steep elevation gain so its a great place for dogs and children as long as you bring your own water, overall its a really nice easy area to wander around in!

"No shade" is not a criticism, actually we were looking for a big sky hike to go on with our 6 yr old. this was perfect! There were a few trails and you could do a short or longer hike. Hilly, but not very steep. There was snow high in the mountains, but none on the trail; it was completely dry. Also, surprisingly not crowded on the trail, but lots of cars in the parking lot. Beautiful!

Great off leash fun for dogs but not in heat of summer unless you are willing to carry a lot of extra water. There is no water at all on this trail in the summer and as mentioned in prior review trails are mostly fully exposed. I hike and bike this frequently in fall and winter because of easy access. In the spring it can be muddy ( but not this year). I have seen moose here more than once - mostly in the winter months.

Good trail system for beginners or kids. Smooth gravel surface, well maintained, marked with many access points. You can easily ride from Park City on the Rail Trail and find it.

Name of trail is a bit confusing as we did not find a trail head with that specific name. Despite that, we had a nice, leisurely 8 mile hike through the interconnected trails and our dog was especially happy being off leash. This was a fairly easy trail, not gonna be awe struck with amazing views, but it was great exercise for

Lots of trails to goose from. All are exposed to the sun and views are below avg for the area. But the biking is very well marked. Trails have tools at a few stops near the paved paths. Lots of fun rollers that make this perfect for a family outing.

Took the dogs up here so we could get out of the smog in the valley. Great off leash trail. So many options to veer off and enjoy being away from others. They enjoyed their time meeting other dogs along the path and we enjoyed our time meeting new folks. Can't wait to go back to enjoy the winter months and looking forward to summer.

Nice mix of single track and also wider fire roads. Rolling trails with some uphill, down, and level sections. Mostly high desert, some parts through trees. Lots of variety in the area. Good for beginner to intermediates, kids ok if have some experience mtn biking

A slightly longer and better variant is Rambler to La Dea Duh to Matt's Flat.
