This hike is simple enough for a good morning hike. It doesn’t take too long and the view is fantastic! The first time I went I ended up of the trail coming back down. The trail can be difficult to keep track of so be sure to pay attention. Even still I would recommend this hike to anyone!

Rocky Peak Trail is a moderate trail located in the Three Peaks Recreation Area 8 miles west of Cedar City Utah. The trail is 1.5 miles round trip and is a fun trail that ends with a peak and 360 degree views of the surrounding area. I've hiked this route several times and it is great for a 400' elevation gain trail run. Trail is steep and loose in some places thus the moderate rating. I especially love peaking out on this trail to watch the sunrise. Dogs love this trail and there aren't every very many people there.
