The Rock Springs trail is a very popular mountain biking trail because of its rolling hills and gentle terrain. The trail passes through a few stands of trees, but the majority of the trail travels through open meadows.

Its was pretty okay. Easy to find. This is more of a nature walk than a hike. I ran into a mountain biker, but no one else. This time of year most of the trees have shed and there wasnt much to look at.

Nice hike that wasn't too difficult. Ran into a bunch of cows though and the mamas weren't too happy with us. Also, very hot and not tons of trees to shade you so be sure to dress appropriately.

My husband & I hike this trail all the time in the summer. it's very peaceful, beautiful, & out of the many times we've hiked here we've only ever saw other people 1 time.

Road today ( 5/30/17 ) still a bit wet as you cross over Jones Ranch River. Very friendly group of older gentlemen on horses other than that I saw no other trail users!

Hiked only a portion of the trail from the Junction of Jones Ranch trail to the trailhead as part of a Box Lake trail, Jones Ranch trail, Rock Springs trail loop hike. Well maintained trail that travels through meadows and trees and lush undergrowth in the trees. Wildflowers were in bloom and very pretty.
