Paul's review below describes the Red Reef trail, not the Red Reef East trail. The Red Reef East trail is an easy out and back and has some very pretty vistas. Family friendly. Be sure and hike the Red Reef Trail as well.

Short hike with great views of the Red Cliffs. If you take a right at the "Tipple" sign, it goes all the way down to the creek and you can cross it linking you to the White Reef trailhead. Follow me on instagram @erichslaughter Cheers!

This is such a fun hike. A short jaunt up the hill you'll make it to the first pools which you can cliff jump at, it's pretty deep so you should be fine. The next pools are pretty fun to cliff jump at as well and the water is clearer which is nice. There's a fallen apart rope that will help you get to the next level, but the foot holes in the rock make it pretty easy. After going a little more you'll be forced to either walk up the stream or take off up the red rocks. I prefer going up the stream because it keeps you cool and its super fun climbing up tiny stream waterfalls to get to the next levels. If you hike up it's a bit more difficult and is kinda sketchy, but still provides some pretty spectacular views of the slots. If you plan to go up the stream be sure to bring some good water shoes that will allow you to swim and go to dry land easily - you'll have to do that a lot.
