Let me first start out by saying if you follow the driving directions using alltrails it will take you to a subdivision on Highland Drive which is a couple of miles from the trailhead. Trail is covered in ice. There were a couple of small spots facing the South side where the ice had melted that were muddy, and rocky. I was the only one on the trail today. I don't know if that was because the weatherman said it was going to be windy, and snowy, or if it's because it's a weekday. It was nice not having a lot of people on the trail. I'm glad I hiked this one today when it's colder, and snowy, verses in the Summer when it's blistering hot. In the summer this Trail has no shade, and is exposed to the South which can make for a very dry hot, and uncomfortable trail. *Bathrooms are available **Dogs are allowed on leash (Doggy bags available.) ***Garbage can available, please put your garbage in It. ****Leave No trace - someone broke a jar of pickles in the parking lot, and just left the pickles, and broken glass behind for someone else to pick up.

Very pretty views but it was too cold and windy so we turned around, we will come back and try again. Trail is covered in snow.

A nice easy hike, we did it as a loop starting from the Red Rock trailhead, following the signs for the Lexi and Ethan trail, and then following the Red Potato trail back to the parking lot. There are lots of bikers, so you need to watch out. The trail was a little bit muddy a couple of days after a rainfall. The dog loved the trail, there were lots of deer tracks and she was sniffing around those.

A decent trail. Barely any shade so go when it’s not so hot. A fun short easy trail!

We loved the hiking/walking part of the trail. The trail was so narrow that we were constantly stepping to the side for bikers. The signs were a little confusing, as the trail crosses several other trails. There was shade for a part of the hike. Overall a good shorter hike.
