This is a great trail to stroll for a quiet getaway and a brief hike. mostly shaded for all the east side trails. The westside trail comes through a dry meadow and is in the sun, still interesting though. plenty of birds and some small critters. There are a few small wooden bridges that cross over very small streams. Very nice.

We loved it, brought our 2 and 3 year olds and let them run and have fun. But though it should be obvious. Watch for RATTLESNAKES. Our 3 year old was almost bit. Rattling and ready to strike thank goodness we kept them close and grabbed her in time. But that goes for any trail. Leaving 4 stars because there was some garbage,

a nice lil trail about a 7 min walk from our house. took us about 30min for the actual trail - with our 1 year old walking part of it. Pretty shaded compared to what I expected. lots of large boulders for kids to climb up and play on.

Fun for kids, I took my niece and nephew who are notorious boo bawl babies on even the easiest of walks and they loved it and can’t wait to go into the “deep deep woods” again.

Great hike for beginners and kids. Shady most of the way. There are multiple other trails that intersect, but it's hard to get lost.

Easy, shady and super beautiful. One of my favorites. I love taking my kids and letting them scramble on all the boulders. It's a great spot for family photos. If you're quiet you'll hear squirrels, rabbits, etc in the brush.

this trail was good for the kids, lots of little spots for us to venture off the trail a little bit. Only complaint is that once you got through the thicket, there was no loop. there was a mowed down area and a 4x4 timber log that was creating a balance beam to loop back through marsh, so we just walked back to the parking lot via the paved road.

I took my 5 and 2 year old on this little hike and they loved it. We even did the loop a couple times. We have gone back and I’m sure we will again. Great for younger kids!

Great easy little trail! Perfect trail when you don’t have a ton of time/energy but you want to get outside. Brought my dog and she loved it, especially getting a drink in the little streams. A little muddy in some spots. But overall in good condition.

EXTREMELY easy trail. Close to the road so you can hear traffic. Very very beautiful!! Took us like 30 minutes to complete the loop. Saw more wildlife on this trail than any others so far. (Woodpecker, squirrel, bunny, and two quail)... Lots of trees so it's shady and cool. We started up Powerline trail, but I wasn't feeling well from being sunburnt and not recovering long enough from a harder hike the day before so we turned around and finished the quail trail. I like this for just an easy stroll

This is one I can get my whole to go on. We all like to come out here. This little loop is well shaded, great stroll no matter what time of year it is. It has couple really good geocaches as well.
