My soon to be 2 year old completed this trail all on his own without needing to be carried, only times he stopped was for water. If he can do this trail, anyone can! It’s well maintained. Bug repellent, sunscreen and water may be helpful. Trail is mostly in sun.

Pretty trail for an evening walk. Took the family last night and there were lots of purple flowers lining the hillside as well as other flowers and blossoms. The stream right next to the trail once you get into the trees was dry yesterday after being full for months - the irrigation flow now follows the stream bed that borders the south side of the big, open park.

We really enjoyed Quail Trail today. A good part of the trail was still in snow with a few muddy sections and a good portion nice and dry packed dirt. With temps in the 60’s this week, I bet this trail is going to get pretty muddy in the next little while. While one of the trail signs pointed down, we took the left path that lead up since it looked less muddy. Gorgeous views! Kids (11, 9) loved it!
