Powell Point Trail is a 8.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Escalante, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from June until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This is a dirt road accessible by high clearance four wheel drive vehicles up until the last three quarters mile. At that point there's a parking area and a trailhead. This is very remote and well worth the effort to get there, the view at the end is a stellar reward. You can see all of Southern Utah from here.
