Beautiful views! A lot of shade, but also a few places with full sun. Many mountain bikers on the trail, which is tricky as some parts are very narrow and really only for one person. I heard rattlesnakes but never saw them. Also passed a large pack of young cub scouts at the trailhead shared with Grandeur — easy to continue on to other trails there. The views are stunning.

Did this trail with our four year old and dog - was nice and shady and the trail is easy to stay on. Great views and an overall easy hike for all levels.

I know this trail is a very heavily used mountain biking trail. I ran this trail this morning at 5:30 AM. It was perfect. Didn't see anyone else on the trail until I got back to the parking lot where I met another group of trail runners and their dogs. I highly suggest this trail, but better get there early to beat the crowds or bikes.
