Fairly easy hike, best done in morning because it gets hot so bring water. Although the trails are narrow at points there is not a steep drop to either side and at point it's completely flat. The hoodo were fun to see. Blue sky, red rocks and green trees, it is truly a beautiful hike.

This trail is right off the highway in Red Canyon. It’s free to enter and passes are not required to park. There’s little foot traffic on the trail but yet well maintained. After pink ledges, there’s a little shrub to walk through. Birdseye is a little more narrow and the rocks slippery. As long as you’re not rushing through, you should be fine. It’s BEAUTIFUL trail. There’s a medium amount of shade and the air is amazingly fresh.

On the low end of moderate. Very scenic. The trail is mostly single track, so not great for social distancing if it’s crowded. Fairly shady in the afternoon.

Beautiful easy hike. The trail is easy to follow and easy to hike on. Small patches of ice and mud.

We enjoyed this trail combination. We did the Hoodoo trail along with the three mentioned. The trail was easy to follow until we started on the Hoodoo. Parts of this section were a little unclear but you can look across the canyon and see the Birdseye trail and where you need to be. There are a lot of small rocks that cause you to slide so I wouldn’t recommend Birdseye for small children. There are a lot of scenic views for pictures. We may do the trail in reverse direction again before we leave, it is a fun little hike.
