Loop trail route through a series of mountain bike trails that are part of the Pierce Park (Forebay) trail system. Park at the gravel Pipeline parking lot (by gas substation) then follow Cow Bones trail connection to Nebo Loop Road, through gate at Lovers Lane trail then follow JMC trail to Little Shawny or continue on to Trotter trail that heads up the hill. Trotter connects to looped Round Top with good views of the surrounding Payson Canyon area. The take Overlook trail south to Favorite trail, then follow JMC back down to the meadow and then back to parking lot. Great set of trails for Mountain Bikers. Also good for a good hike, run, or walk but a little circuitous for hiking / running (quite a few switch-backs and curves), but still great trail system to explore this natural area. Majority of the area is owned by Payson City and consists of dense scrub oak, maples, and some scattered sage brush.

Hiked a loop through Pierce Park trails and up to Forebay pond. Beautiful, inversion free day. Trails are a bit muddy. Only passed one other person though.
