Good hike overall. Our favourite part was the fact there were no other people around. Views were nice. Agree with previous reviews that the path is a bit sketchy towards the top, and the path is not that well marked up there either.

W O W. Absolutely breathtaking, and the views of Castle Valley are amazing.

I did this back in April. Great views of Castle Valley. A bit of vertigo at the top. The trail actually continues to the top of the mesa but requires a climbing harness to attach to a cable. Slips would be fatal.

The hike is not long and the walk up wasn’t too strenuous. That said, the trail is narrow with a very steep drop; it will definitely test your nerves but it’s WORTH IT!

Beautiful and quiet but sketchy footing at top.

The is a wonderful, shorter hike that quickly brings you up to impressive views of Castle Valley. Initially, you have a quick climb up to the ridge, then follow the ridge NW to the base of Parriott Mesa. You then have another steady climb up to the base. The trail eventually kind of disappears, but you can continue around at your own discretion. There are impressive views from the top, and you can complete this hike fairly quickly. An added bonus: pretty much nobody hikes in this area. Enjoy!
