I've been running this trail 4-6 days per week for the last three months and have repeatedly loved it, especially the sections that are not roadside - very nicely groomed with trees, plants, and a few wildflowers. Today, I was quite surprised to see that there was absolutely no water in Cottonwood Creek and the Old Mill Park holding pond was nearly dried up! Not sure what's going on there, but still a nice trail.

Nice bike path for a walk with fun historical signs along the way. The mill is cool, but not accessible. You can just see it across the street.

Great path with our pup. Dogs must be on a leash. Easy to walk. Took us 50min and burned 300 calories

It’s a bike path and running path... not really a trail and def not a hike. But it’s a nice path for kids.

Started the trail near the Cotton Bottom Inn. Nice trail, little hard to follow because you have to cross major streets. Good afternoon run, very wide path. Recommend starting where I did because you gain elevation in this direction. nice pavement.

Couldn’t find all of the trail since it breaks up multiple times through the neighborhood.

Paved bike trail with very little shade. If you walk this during the hot summer days be sure to take plenty of water as there is only a few spots to stop in the shade. There are lots of historical plaques along the trail with some cool history if you like that kind of thing.

Very pretty bike/walking trail with both scenic and city views along the way. We especially enjoyed playing at the park at the end of the trail.

We got a little lost the first time since you have to cross the road to continue the trail once you get past Market Street, but we went back another day and the old building and water toward the end really made it worth it.

Yes while the trail-head is closed to construction you can turn west down the street with the street just north of the Credit Union into the Old Mill Business Park. Then turn south at the round-a-bout and go through the packing lot and across Big Cottonwood Creek. Then turn right (west) and drive through the parking garage. Park at the end of the parking lot and you are less that 50 feet from the Trail Sign that is under the I-215 belt route.

We actually had a really fun time walking this urban trail. Yes, we threw snowballs at each other along the way—and it was almost 60 degrees outside! Once out of the businesses, the trail continues to follow the creek through a quiet residential area to this cool, old stone mill. The kids loved the place, and it’s always good to have an actual arrival point with kids. Fun 2 miles on a pretty Springlike day!
