An easy hike with a beautiful but typical view. Good hike for people with limited mobility who want a moderate jaunt.

HikingGreat!

Freaking fantastic views of the canyons and green river. Found a rock, took off our shoes, and relaxed for an hour. Hard to believe you can do that in a busy NP, huh?

Hiked this at the recommendation of the Ranger at the entrance gate. While everyone and their mom was fighting for parking at Mesa Arch, I pulled into a very small dirt lot with about 10 other cars at Murphy trailhead. This was around 10am as well, when traffic into Canyonlands was really picking up. Hike was great, well marked, and once you arrive at the canyon there's plenty of freedom to explore around. Views are incredible! If you're hiking with a narcissist, know they will have plenty of Instagram opportunities on various Insta-worthy rock outcrops near the edges. Overall, be mindful of the wind and mind the gap between some rocks - it's a long way down.

Beautiful! There are a lot of side trail options at the end in order to get different viewpoints of the canyon below.

Quick and easy out to the point. Narrow trail that widens and turns to rock at the end with a canyon overlook.

Views at the end are beautiful. The trail is fairly easy with some inclines on the way and coming back. Cairns mark the less well-cleared part of the trail.
