HikingGreat!

wonderful rock scramble even for a 66 yr old. just a few patches of snow. decided it was easier to get my tennis shoes wet instead of trying to keep them dry. Came down thru the creek at the bottom instead of going over the big boulder at the beginning. About 1/2 way up, easier path to follow on right side of creek.

Hiked this trail on Easter Sunday (04/04/21) around 8:15 a.m. What an awesome short trail to the waterfall! At first I was confused on where the trail leads but it took me a few seconds to see that I had to walk up the rocks to get there! Waterfall was stunning! Some parts of the trail still had snow and I was glad that I bought spikes and hiking poles. Going up was not too bad but going back down was a little rough, so watch your step! Overall, not too difficult of a hike and the waterfall is definitely worth seeing! :) Note: To help anyone who needs a little help navigating to the trail, look for a small spot area that has the Green Mile 7 sign. You can park anywhere in that area. There are two trails that you can see that marks the start of the hike. One is more uphill and the other one is a little less uphill but it is easier to walk on.

Stay for the most part on the right side of the creek, except for once you cross and then get back to the right. Beautiful! Don’t go by yourself.

A neat hike. We only had time to do about 1/3 of it. Will definitely come back.

Short, but fun. There were some downed trees on the trail. but they are not hard to climb over.

The waterfall is really pretty. It’s mostly straight up with slippery rocks & shale. You’ll do lots of scrambling. I would rate this a difficult intermediate. I wouldn’t recommend doing this hike with small children. The waterfall area is a very small area so you’ll want to take turns with other hikers at the very top. Wear the proper hiking shoes.

Not really what I was expecting. i went in with my Chacos and there was a fair amount of scrambling especially at the beginnjng. kind of off the beaten path hike so not lot of traffic hence the trail is at time hard to follow. On a good not is kind of hard to get lost since yiu are going up a very narro canyon so yiu really can only go up. Fun hike. really nice waterfall. Be ready with good shoes and for a steep incline a times.

It’s a pretty chill trail, not hardly anyone on it, just remember to stay on the trail.

Fun climb up, but pretty steep. I had to take a few breaks. The area around the waterfall could only really accommodate one or two groups, so we waited for a minute before going up to take pictures. Not really a place to relax or hang out unless you just so happen to be the only one there. Plus there's nowhere to sit without water, so definitely more of a playing spot! There was also an old mine shaft that we had fun exploring.

Steady upclimb over boulders to get to the waterfall. You need to do some minor bushwhacking as well. Worth it though!

This is a hike that's more for experienced hikers. Lots of scrambling, loose rock, yellow jackets. Pretty at the top.
