Mirror Lake Loop is a 1.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Kamas, Utah that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from June until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

August 12, 2020When they first redid the trail a couple years ago, we felt like Mirror Lake had lost its natural, rugged charm. This was made worse by the crowds. We’re so glad we went back tonight. Now that the trail is broken in with lots of nice places to step down to the water to fish, it is fantastic. Also, on a Tuesday night, it wasn’t crowded—just a few families fishing like us. My 12 year old caught a nice rainbow, and I caught a smallish tiger trout without much difficulty. Gorgeous night away from the heat. So glad we washed the bad taste out of our mouths from our last visit 2-3 years ago.

July 24, 2020We had a great day here with the family. $6 for the day. We fished and hiked around the lake. Definitely lots of people, but worth it.

July 9, 2020We camped up at the lake and took a few walks around the lake at different times back at the beginning of July. I was surprised at how many people were up at the lake but I guess everyone just getting out of the city and away from COVID.
