Mineral Bottom is accesed via Mineral Bottom Road, (sometimes called Horse Thief Trail). The trail is well maintained and is rated as easy. It is about 13 miles to the switchbacks that lead you down to the White Rim Trail and the Green River. The switchbacks are scenic and very easy as you decend about 500' to the bottom. Once on the bottom, turning right will lead you to dead ended Mineral Bottom, where rafting boats are launched. If you turn left you are on the White Rim Trail. We took the left and proceeded to Taylor Canyon to explore the spires of Moses and Zeus. A nice day Jeeping.
