Beautiful hike but you need to be very skilled at bolstering or bring repelling g equipment t to get into the gorge. It is a 100 foot drop and hard to find the trail head to the gorge. .

If you don't have time to do the entire gulch this is a great compromise. You get to see some of the best parts of Buckskin in one quick hike. The gulch is absolutely beautiful; so many colors and patterns. The walls are massive, they seem to reach to the sky forever. It's a humbling experience as it will remind you of how small we really are. You don't want to miss this one.

Middle Route to Buckskin Gulch was only a part of our hike.
We hiked from White House TH to Middle Route into the gulch, farther to the confluence of Buckskin Gulch and Paria River and upward to White House Th.
A very nice hike.
