An easy walk out to an arch perched right on a cliff edge. A great sunrise hike in Canyonlands National Park with great views. The Island in the Sky mesa rests on sheer sandstone cliffs over 1,000 feet above the surrounding terrain. Every overlook offers a different perspective on Canyonlands' spectacular landscape. The Island is the easiest district to visit in a short period of time, offering many pullouts with spectacular views along the paved scenic drive. Hiking trails and four-wheel-drive roads access backcountry areas for day or overnight trips. Mesa Arch Trail is easy and offers great views from the arch perched right on a cliff edge. A great sunrise hike. Start: Mesa Arch parking area Time: 30 minutes

Nice little walk to a world class arch!

Beautiful arch. Don’t be that person that walks across despite the signs and gives attitude to the staff for asking you to get off. Let’s try to protect these places!

Easily the most popular trail at the Canyonlands. I think this is my favorite spot for a sunset not on the Pacific Ocean that I have ever been in my life.

An easy trail assuming no snow/ice. Only certain sections were a little bad but no worry. Just go slow and pick your steps. Great views and hardly anyone there.

Great little short trail decent amount of snow but not too slippery. I didn't need to break out my micro spikes.

(Murphy,Green River..) Mais inévitable malgré tout!

Amazing sunrise through the arch! Definitely have to get there early to get a spot in between the tripod cameras.

Easy; highly trafficked; snowy; tracks/crampons handy but not necessary; fog obstructed the view so we couldn’t see into the canyon

Great view. Bring friends. Easy walk to the Arch, but I would suggest crampons to keep from slipping on the hard packed snow. Easy enjoyable hike though.

Crowded, arch and view are beautiful. Points if you can get a picture of the arch without people in it.

Easy and short trail to an iconic viewpoint. Wasn’t too busy so we really enjoyed it. Definitely the most popular trail in the park so try to go early.

Mesa Arch offers incredible views, spend 5-10 minutes meditating there away from the clicking pictures. Tranquility .
