Short easy trail to a beautiful arch. We went at sunrise. There are many photographers standing in front of arch. Very possessive and some what rude to the amateurs.

Beautiful scenery and not too populated today (30 degrees ) which was awesome. A little snow around but absolutely clear skies and the sun as a compliment to the views.

Quick hike to catch the sunrise. Gets a bit crowded with photographers trying to catch the arch light up at first light. Bring along a headlamp if you hike over before sunrise.

We did this hike around sunrise on 01/15/2021, and while it seemed we had the park to ourselves driving to the trailhead, we soon saw that plenty others had the same idea. Having said that, there still weren’t that many people there—maybe four other smallish groups. Plenty of space for great pics. Such a beautiful place! Winter here is magic!

Made this short hike mid-morning in a light snow 12/12/20. While visibility of the canyon beyond the arch was very limited due to fog/snow, the view was still incredible. Highly recommended.

Hiking

Gorgeous views. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Technical in parts- one section required a couple easy climbing moves (short traverse) about 4 feet above the trail. Some caution if heights are t your thing. It was also icy and snow at parts. Definitely worth the effort!
