The trail is mostly through wooded areas with views of small lakes and ponds. The trail is fairly easy on mostly level terrain that can be rocky in some places.

Hiked to Marjorie Lake and then back tracked to Weir Lake- gorgeous trails, the wild flowers are blooming and beautifully aplenty! Loved my time in the Upper Unitas. The trail(s) are fairly rocky but well marked. Wear sunscreen lots of trail is in sun with almost enough shade to make it ok.

Husband and I backpacked up here in early August last year and it was just gorgeous. The trails were pretty crowded right up until that first turn off towards Marjorie and then we didn't see another soul. Awesome bridges and wildflowers everywhere. The trail just sort of ended near the lake and turned into marsh, we totally soaked our shoes. Not that big of a deal since we were almost done for the day but next time we'll switch to sandals or water shoes at the end of the trail while exploring where to set up camp. There are several great little campsites hidden among the trees around the lake. It rained lightly a good portion of the time but it was warm. Peaceful. Gorgeous. Don't forget your bug spray!

I’d wait until July to do this again.Awesome trail with a balanced amount of elevation gain and distance. After the 2nd fork in the trail, you start to encounter more snow patches, marsh areas, muddy sections, and places where the trail becomes a creek. The last 1/4-1/2 mile were pure marshland. High top waterproof boots would do fine with careful foot work. My shoes were only dry to 1.5 inches and after slipping in the mud and marsh, I just let my feet get wet in the marsh. The shore was a great place to dry my shoes and socks before heading back.

Gorgeous views, fabulous greenery when I went in July. Would definitely do it again

Really fun hike. Super easy with pretty views. The lake is kind of small, but there are awesome places to camp all around it. Perfect for a short little backpacking trip. My only gripe would be the first half of the hike is heavily trafficked. Lots of horse poop to avoid.

Is it just me or is it starting to get crowded here?

Great trail. Fairly easy, took my 9, 7 and 3 year old boys with no problems.

Beautiful scenery and not too many people.

Really nice area and these are a bit more off the beaten path than some other lakes in the area http://rblr.co/MyIf

Hiked to this lake from the trail that runs run past pot and weir lake. Didn't realize there was another trail to the east. Planning on getting back next year to check on the main trail that shows up only in the Nat-Geo map

This was a great hike. Would have easily taken our three year old, there were only two spots where it got a little steep, but only four about 100 yards each. The fishing at Marjorie is great, with large Brookies and one of the few lakes in the Uintas that holds Arctic Grayling!

Pretty easy trail. It turned out to be great for our first backpacking trip in years. On June 13th there was spotty snow and most of the trail was wet and muddy, but there were less bugs and people than there will be later in the season!
