Perfect weather, no snow, fairly busy on a Saturday evening but plenty of parking in overflow.

the first half mile is the hardest part and the path can get narrow and its really rocky. once you get to the reservoir it's a pretty mellow hike with alot of nice views.

Parking lot full (overflow semi full) when I began. A few spaces in the lot when I got down. Beautiful day, lots of families with little kids (Saturday) expect to stop to let people by regardless of who has the right of way. The only snow left is in the water behind the tiny building at the top.

Excellent morning for a hike. Trails are dry. The big rock at the beginning (right) offers a great overlook.

Beautiful. Parking lot full. A trail so close to town but so worthwhile attracts hikers who don’t know how to share a trail unfortunately.

Just a little muddy/slushy in a couple spots. The rest of the trail was perfect. Might be my new favorite for a quick workout.

Beautiful hike. Love going out an hour or two before sunset and walking back with the sunset. Me and my kids wore good hiking boots and were fine. Husband slipped twice with tennis shoes. I would recommend sturdy hiking boots or spikes because of this. Trail is mostly melted and muddy but a few slippery parts still. 5 year old was able to do this by himself. 2 year old did about 1/4.

Beautiful! We had spikes but took them off in the middle since it was mostly mud. Many people didn’t have spikes. Snow is mostly packed down!

we turned back at the bridge 0.4 miles in due to no visibility bc of the snow/fog. This would be a beautiful trail when the sky is clear! Spikes helpful but not necessary. trail starts with lots of stairs up. good paved parking lot. 2-13-2021
