Logan River Trail: Rendezvous Park is a 2.1 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Logan, Utah that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Mostly shaded level paths that run along the Logan River. The trailhead has parking, a restroom, and an off-leash dog area. Accessibility: There is one designated accessible space in the small paved parking lot off of Highway 89 at the south end of the trail. It is van-accessible with a striped access aisle. The trail surface is paved (asphalt, concrete, or wooden bridge with edge barriers), and typically at least 5 feet wide. The estimated grade is gentle (5% or less). This trail will likely be navigable for most trail goers using wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers. There are benches along the route for resting.
A resent discovery for our family this trail for us, like many others, has become a staple of our weekly outdoors time. Easy for the little ones and relaxing with almost complete shade. Because of the tight grouping of trees it is both well traveled but leaves you feeling on your own to enjoy the area.
Shaded, paved, and an easy walk. Great for a walk with the grandkids.
Fun paved walking trail with plenty of spaces to sit or stand and enjoy the river. It’s going strong this May, so I’d say watch your kids and animals closely so they don’t drown. The trail is busy, and at times be aware of golf carts and bikers. Good option if you want to get outside but don’t really feel like a hike.
Nice short concrete/wood bridge trail along the Logan River and "through" the Logan River Golf Course (so plenty of urban features along the trail). Saw a number of ducks. A sizable dog park is at the trailhead.
The river has been rerouted on this path so it is a bit different then the trail map had suggested but all the golfers that we saw were friendly, there is one space where you share the trail with golf carts. Started at the parking lot by Rendezvous Park and then had to walk across the railroad tracks to begin the trail. Paved the whole way, saw some wildlife and had a nice walk. We’d do it again!
The in-town Logan River Trail is a nice trail to walk or run in the summer as the majority of it is beneath tree cover. The river runs along most of it and you will see lots of birds, squirrels, etc. It is a common trail, most people run from one end, the golf course to the dog park or vice versa, and then back. It is a busy trail, but nice none-the-less. Be mindful of the signs to stay on the trail versus entering the golf course property.
