Great trail. Never really "too steep" just nice and steady all the way up. The turn off from the Syncline trail isn't clearly marked so be on the lookout. The last mile, the trail fades quite a bit but is still noticeable. Overall great trail with solitude and views.

Fun day hike with some great views. The last half mile or so of the trail is not that well maintained and partially snow covered, so you’ll probably need to do a little bushwhacking. Other than that the trail is well kept and has great views.

Decent trail with a good amount of shade (at least the first mile and a half). I decided to turn around after seeing four snakes, so be on the look out.

Went mountain-biking on this today. Very fun downhill. It is snake season though, be very careful. Luckily the fangs did not penetrate my foot, but did get bit by a western diamondback right on my shoe. Very scary. Be careful.

I really enjoyed this hike and am looking forward to returning when I have more time and can complete it. Looks like it would be a great hike in the heat of summer as it is quite shaded.

Good hike with steady incline the whole way up. Make sure to pay attention to all the forks in the trail on the way up though. I took a wrong fork on the way down which turned out to be a game trail and had to bushwhack for a while to find the real trail again.
