Logan Peak Trail is a 5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Logan, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from June until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
There may be another way to drive to the “trailhead” but it took me 2 hours from Logan up Blacksmith Fork-Left Hand Fork-Logan Peak rd. You definitely need 4-wheel drive for the Logan Peak Road portion and it was really rocky. Probably a lot more fun on an ATV but my Nissan Frontier did just fine. I parked at a road junction where the App indicates the “trail” begins. Actually, the route shown here just continues up the rocky, dusty dirt road for 2.5 miles. I couldn’t find any trail although I did cut some switchbacks by taking some horse trails on occasion. The summit view is gorgeous, of course, but for all the time it took to drive and then just walk along the road, next time I’ll just hike up from Dry Canyon
This trailhead is inaccessible by car the way this app gives directions. The road was absolutely terrible for a while and then hit a dead end. We didnt even make it halfway there. If you have a jeep or a four wheeler or something like that you can go up to a waterfall where the road ends but don't attempt this direction if not
