Nice hike up to the arch. Do bring plenty of water. Other arches either on the way or a bit past - through what is called a “primitive” trail. Enjoyable all the way.

Landscape Arch is why I wanted to come to Arches NP, and it didn’t disappoint. The trail was a little crowded to start but about halfway through everyone disappeared. When I got to Landscape, there was a model being photographed with the arch. When they left, I had the whole thing to myself for at least 15 minutes. Amazing given the hordes of folks at other places in the park. I’m so grateful! My only disappointment was that you couldn’t hike into the arch.

May 2019 trip to Southwest, fifth visit to UT, last time was 10 years ago in late spring. Day 5. This was mine first National Park I visit 22 years ago in late spring. First time at Devils Garden. More of stormy weather on the way, yet parking was still extremely crowded. You will see world longest arch still standing but how much longer? Parts already collapsed in 1990’s.

Easy trail but it a bit harder than other easy trails. Only because it’s longer and it’s open, no shade but the payoffs...can’t beat that!

We liked this scenic trail. There were several other arches, too.

Great view of Landscape Arch, which is so impressive! It’s a nice hike and keep going a little farther when you reach the sand. You can get closer views of the arch, and the sand was fun for the kids. We hiked fairly early in the morning when it was still cool and the huge rock walls offered shade.

See before it collapses!! Not a hard trail, but not a lot of shade.

Take the time to go to the furthest viewing spot of landscape arch. It’s hard to believe this arch is somehow still standing, it is so long and so thin. See it before it collapses.

Easy and very beautiful walk out to the arch. I recommend going in the morning as the arch faces East and is more brilliant in the morning sun. Lots of great views East along the trail. It can get crowded, but if you go further to Double O and beyond, people thin out a lot.

Did this hike as part of the harder Devils Garden trail. Very busy. Easy, well marked trail.

Easy trail with a really awesome view. Also, there’s options to make it a longer trail if you want by going further or doing the primitive trail. The primitive trail looked fun but we didn’t have the time to do it.

Relatively short trail that leads to a great view. Pretty muddy with some snow and ice in early February, but easily passable. Boots recommended. Connects with several other trails that lead to other arches, so it’s east to make your hike to Landscape Arch shorter or longer if desired.

HikingIcy

We went in January so it was cold and icy. The majority of the trail was sheeted in a thick layer of ice. Still managed to hike just fine (albeit a bit slowly) and safely in regular running shoes. The view is breathtaking. This is my favorite hike at Arches so far. Kid-friendly as long as you have patience with the ice, no crazy drop offs or anything.
