The trail is easy and family friendly. Their are bugs but it is not as bad in the heat of the day. The sunsets are amazing in the summer!

More a route than a trail

GNATS!!!! They were unbearable when we went yesterday. I would NOT suggest going while they are in full force right now. Our scalps were bitten raw. I’m sure this trail would be great without bugs!

Too much bugs! We barely enjoyed the trail because we itched a lot due the bugs. Maybe it’s better in another season. The view it’s a good one and there is a lot of space to throw away rocks in the lake.

Fun for hide and seek, skipping rocks and bouldering. Kids laughed a lot

great little trail. super easy and just kind of small detour off the road. great for kids. the hike itself doesn't really offer anything great other than a great way to stretch the legs and enjoy the island.

Its fine if you aren’t afraid of spiders... I am so this was not my favorite. Really pretty view from the top of the rocks though.

So many spiders you can’t get anywhere without running into them

Not a ton to see, in comparison to the rest of antelope island, but it makes for a nice little break if you’ve been sitting in the car for a while.

Very short trail leading to some good views. Not really a hike, but worth doing if you are on the island.

First part was well marked trail. After that the scramble over the rocks was less obvious where to go. No shade on walk, but not buggy at all (late July 10:30am). Nice view from end.

Quick little hike with some great views. Some easy to climb and navigate rocks at the end of the trail.

Was a nice little stroll with a lovely view and lots of birds. Really short and lots of bugs. Packed our 10 month old twins with us in carriers and they loved it.

We had an amazing time. The trail was rocky for sure, so watch your step. Either way you'll get so pretty good views of the island from this location.

This was a fun stop at the state park. It was cold and windy over new years weekend, I went with a few friends. We all loved exploring the rocks and it was our first taste of the great salt lake!

A good viewpoint of the Great Salt Lake. Many birds and other wild animals on the island. The inverted reflection in water is so beautiful, like mirage!
