Great family hike. Made it with a 4,6,9!year old with no problems at all. Can only go to upper and middle. Lower is closed from the the middle pool down. Upper is above and opened still. It took us 2.5 hours but we did take lots of photos along the way and played in the sand and ate some snacks at the upper pool. The pool was frozen but water was falling from the falls. Most people can make the entire hike. It’s .8 miles to the middle pool and then .3 miles uphill to the upper pool. So only 2.2 miles total. Beautiful views along the trail.

Hiked 11/14, I suspect the pools are nicer to see in the spring. The hike it self was enjoyable.

The upper emerald pools are really beautiful. Unfortunately, the trail to lower emerald is closed. It's still worth doing, but we came back to do the Grotto Trail to Zion Lodge, since Kayenta didn't go all the way.

Not easy. Not sure where these ratings come from. The heat, sand, scrambling and grade make this a more moderate trale to hike. For some it is just difficult. It is worth the hike like everywhere in Zion. Did this in 112 degree temps. take lots of water.

Nice relaxing hike. Did it right after Angel's landing do was nice to compare the different view points of the park high and low. Seemed to have less people than many other trails.

Very enjoyable Trail. A little bit of hiking to get up to the trail, but once there fabulous views down the Valley to the Watchman. Also not crowded when we went. We entered at Kayenta and hiked to the Upper and Lower pools, then to Zion Lodge.
