John Jarvie Historic Ranch is a 0.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Dutch John, Utah that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

John Jarvie operated a trading post and a ferry here on the banks of the Green River. The area was known as Brown's Hole, and later as Brown's Park. Because is was very close to three states, outlaws were known to frequent the area. John was shot in the back just outside his trading post. Very interesting!
