Great morning run. All shaded when you go really early. Partly shaded when sun is out.

This trail is useful for getting to other trails, but it is BORING. I don't know why it is so highly rated. It's an old dirt road that has been closed off to motor vehicles.

Beautiful tree covered trail. We biked the lower end of the trail with our kids (4,6,8,& 10) it was a fun ride for all. It’s a Bumpy skinny trail with roots and rocks and small ups and downs. Took our ride May 1st.

Trail was fine, but ridiculously windy. Nothing special. Totally uphill the first half, but nothing pretty to see to make up for it. Ends up in a neighborhood. I wouldn’t recommend it.

This trail is used by a lot of the locals in the area. We passed many people out for their evening walks with their dogs. This trail was also mainly used by mountain bikers. The farther we went the more mountain bikers we saw. We were constantly having to move off to the side for the bikers. We did pass a few people on their horses. Currently it is the 2nd week of April. The trail is still pretty dead, not many of the trees were green. Here and there we would see patches of yellow wild flowers. The stream the runs next to the trail is really nice. It was pretty rocky towards the end. The trail is more of an old dirt road than your traditional hiking trail. There were a few places that the tire tracks had dug pretty deep ruts in the road. It was a great work out. There is a steady incline, so it’s not a killer. Overall it’s an ok hike/nature walk. I probably won’t do it again.

I really enjoyed the trail. There were very few people. It was a good workout but not too hard. I liked how the trail was along a little stream as well. It did get quite muddy near the top though.

An inch or two of snow for most of the trail today. Nice easy to follow trail that follows a creek, but no view.

Missed the trailhead going up but found it coming back down. It's north east of the parking lot. The early section if steeper that the upper half. We added Peak View Trail, Pork u Pine and Auchtung Baby to make it a great loop

Didn’t walk the whole trail. Only went a mile in. Nice and pretty trail for a disabled vet like me! The wife and dog loved it too!

great easy hike! check the pictures I uploaded to see the REAL start of the trail (official trail head is as shown in the other pic). not a flat trail, think rolling hills. there's a nice little Creek along the road- probably dry part of the year.

it's a pipeline road, but I can't imagine it's ever too busy.

This isn’t a hike to do right after it rains because it gets quite muddy. The trail is great with packed snow on it and great dry. It starts as what seems as just a road but if you keep going you will come to the gate and hog hollow sign about half mile away from where the directions start you. The real hike starts there and the further up you go, there is a little creek off the side that my dogs love. It’s a great easy family hike out and back.

What trail? All we found was a muddy pipe line road. Disappointing.
