I give this hike one star for several reasons. Very first thing is the trailhead is very difficult to find. There is no trail marker and the trailhead looks like no more than a small game path. Second the entire trail is very overgrown, lack of foot traffic and trail maintenance. This makes the trail very difficult to follow. We almost lost the trail entirely a few times, I would recommend long pants because you’ll be bush whacking most of it. And last but not least, the trail should be rated moderate/hard. It’s VERY steep most of the way up and the trail is mostly comprised of loose broken shale. .
