Sure beats a splash pad! It was fun and challenging for my 3 year old and 7 year old without being so hard they complain the whole time. It was pretty hard for me carrying my chunky 10 month old and backpack and being very out of shape. It's short enough, next time I'll leave the back pack in the car and probably upgrade to a better baby carrier. We brought squirt guns which were a fun addition. Water shoes or river sandals are a must, your feet will get wet.

Great little trail for us to do this evening since we had plans all day. Takes about four minutes to get to the falls. My kids loved scrambling around the rocks and looking down in the mine. Wasn’t too crowded, but it’s hard to find hikes in the LCC or BCC that aren’t crowded these days

Trail is super short and fairly rough (super up and down, rocky, and through the river.) kids loved it and not too crowded on a Monday evening

It takes maybe three minutes to get to the waterfall. Super beautiful and shady. We only saw one other group of people that were leaving as we were walking up. There is also a little cave you can go into.

Enjoyed this little hike for Father’s Day. Be prepared to walk through the stream. Not difficult at all but we were not prepared to get wet so ended up with soggy feet. Took our 1.5 yr old and had to carry her when we were in the river but everywhere else she could do on her own.

Not sure why this is moderate. We just walked along the stream and made it to the waterfall within a few minutes. Still a nice sight especially for kids.

Saw a huge rattlesnake. Good thing my 7-year-old heard the rattle before we accidentally stepped on it. It was right next to the trail. Phew!

May 31st. Maybe because the stream was higher with runoff, we found the hike difficult. The only easy part was walking from the parking lot to the trailhead. There is a log bridge, but a group of hikers blocked the safe side from view. My disabled daughter and I had to traverse the stream while they watched her struggle. The log bridge is on the left side when you first approach the stream. The rocks were slippery due to the water. Then there was a moderate trail up to a rock landing. She stayed there while I scrambled over rocks and water the rest of the way to the waterfall. This is not an EASY hike, despite how short it is. The scenery, however, was beautiful. The waterfall is beautiful. There’s a gated cave (with a small opening). We enjoyed ourselves. I wouldn’t recommend this trail if you are not in shape or wearing proper shoes for slippery surfaces.

absolutely fantastic! gps was all messed up; look for the trail head near the curve in the road. cross the stream with the fallen logs (super easy to do) and just follow the river bank. I don't know where the GPS wanted us to go, but this little hidden fall is a great time! the water level at its highest covered my shoe.

Really short trail with a small waterfall. We did have to walk across one log across the water.

The trail marked on the app is closed, it’s covered with large rocks and trees that appear to have been intentionally set there to block the trail. If you follow the trail signs, you’ll end up on the Mill B North trail. Some people were crossing the river to access the trail via a log, I wouldn’t recommend that. There are signs EVERYWHERE to stay out of the river, the water is high right now, which is why the trail to the left is washed out and why the path to the falls is blocked.

The falls ARE now accessible. You have to walk over a log across the creek. Super quick- fun for my toddler. Beautiful falls right off the road.

Unless you want to cross a log over the rushing water, the falls aren’t accessible right now since the trail on the right side is washed out.

Cross the street follow the water super quick and if you wanna go on top you can go to left and get over to it but I’d recommend staying on the bottom

Parking lot is right at the hair pin of the road, right side. Have to cross the road so keep eyes open. Waterfall access after crossing the creek over a couple fallen logs. Light snow in March. We are in the middle of coronavirus lockdown and not a si gle person in sight. Had the place to ourselves. We saw a moose up the canyon, lots of moose droppings.

We were disappointed the trail to the falls was not apparent. There is a sign for a trail going upstairs to the right. Don't take it. Unless you know where the falls are, which is straight ahead, you might not be happy taking the wrong trail. Falls were great once we quickly found them after wasting time on the wrong trail.
