HikingGreat!

Probably one of the easiest “trails” in the park. It’s a sidewalk and it’s a very short walk from the parking area with some amazing views that give you Grand Canyon vibes.

May 2019 trip to Southwest, fifth visit to UT, last time was 10 years ago in late spring. Day 6. Mine #39 National Park to visit in over two decades. Was planning go to Upheval Dome but not enough time. This overlook is absolutely mind blowing just unbelievable!!! I was to Grand Canyon three times already. Yet here you also can experience vastness of the canyons and creation of nature to its highest greatness. Mine second best views of whole trip were on Day 11 at Mesa Verde Nat’l Park Point Lookout Trail.

Quick overlook trail. We pored it with Mesa Arch for a quick Canyonlands experience. Can’t go wrong with this overlook

Incredibly short walk to the lookout point! Perfect for all fitness levels! Yes it’s short but it’s so worth the stop to check it out! The views of the green river are insanely magical! So lucky to be able to visit and see these incredible places! Definitely a must see if you are in Canyonlands!

this trail is super short, so it's really just a good spot to stretch your legs and snap some good photos. we did it really just to check it off our list since it's so short.

Nice view. Worth it to stop for 5min especially when there’s only a few other cars in the lot.

Gorgeous overlook but this is not a hike. There is a paved concrete walkway out to the viewpoint so it attracts many visitors. Still, definitely worth a stop.

Paved sidewalk. Great to get out and stretch the legs a little. Not a hike, but a short walk that is ADA suitable. One portion is not ADA, but overall a good place for people with mobility issues to view the park.

Scenic driving

Drove to the roads end on 7/5/18 and was really expecting something more. I thought this place would have incredible views in all directions. Honestly, I was a little disappointed. I guess my expectations were a little to high. I would have been really disappointed if I had to pay for the entry fee of $30, but we have an annual pass. I just don't think this is one of our best national parks. I believe it is more of a backpack or 4 x 4 drive type adventure, as opposed to just hitting up the viewpoints. Pretty desolate out there

Short walk to a lookout of the Green River. Found it interesting to look down on a river that I've boated on many time during the annual Green River to Moab friendship cruise back in the 60's
