This is a great area to visit. I have a Jeep so I drove and then hiked around the old cemetery and old town. It is an easy hike. Some paved and some dirt roads. This would be a perfect hike and adventure for a family with kids. Lots to explore.

Nice shortish hike. I made it about 1/4 mile before the grades got steeper than I was comfortable with but very scenic views at the top! Getting to the trail head is a little tricky - look for Grafton Rod which will take you across a single lane bridge and then follow dirt road for about 1 mile until you get to the cemetery.

Interesting history

This is where the filmed the bicycle riding scene in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid". The Grafton Cemetary is a nice bit of history and well preserved. Great scenery all around you. When you get to the ghost town it's fun to figure out where the scene from the film was shot.

A great little drive for history buffs! The road is paved for about half the way; the unpaved portion is a little rough, but can be driven in a passenger car
