This is part of the Draper Trails family of trails. Well maintained with a mixture of equestrian, mountain biking and hiking. Some parts of the trail are narrow so keep an ear out for mountain bikers. Super pretty fall colors and a water fall.

This is a beautiful hike. It does have a lot of bikers, but I really enjoyed it. There are many trails and different starting points. It is quite shady and the trail is well marked.

I loved the journey, but the destination was a letdown. I came from below, went to the falls, and then up to the trailhead. There are some beautiful areas, particularly below the falls.

it is easy, and nice. the problem is there are a lot of bikers on the trail. you have to be vigilant so neither you nor your kids are run over, or you can just take a bike.

Was not the greatest for kids and the falls were just a small stream down a rock. My son and I almost got bitten by a baby rattle snake.

Took both the kids on the hike this morning. We started at the Carolina Hills Trailhead to knock off some of the mileage. The trail to Ghost falls can be confusing - be sure to take a map or hike with a friend that knows the way. Not knowing the route could mean adding unnecessary mileage to your hike. I'd give this hike a 3 because 1) there are lots of mountain bikers you share the trail with and 2) the falls are pretty small and unimpressive compared to others in the area. But, its a nice little canyon and a good way to stretch the legs and kill time with the kiddos.
