Easy elevation gain. Take note- This is also a mountain bike trail. Be aware and don’t wear headphones as to be able to listen for bikes and also rattlesnakes. Encountered one on the side of trail- it rattled to give us notice. Large snake - he was mad! Ghost falls isn’t running to much in mid summer.

Awesome hike. Good incline. Lots of fun terrain. Sun and shade. Fun place to sit and enjoy the view at the top. One place where the trail is a tad confusing. If it’s super busy with bikers you can take phantom foot path as an alternative.

Mostly used for the bikers. Be careful you might get hit somehow especially for little kids. Also horseback riding shared this trail. Not recommended.

Nice trail to take our teenage daughter. Just enough endurance to be challenging for her.

Boring. Good if you want to get hit by a mountain biker. Would be a good trail run

Tons of mountain bikes the last mile or so, so it’s important to stay alert and be ready to move off the trail.

Coyote Hollow Trailhead is closed for renovations. If you can find an alternate trailhead that connects, the Ghost Falls Trail is open and in good condition.

Great little hike, lots of shade. It was still a little muddy in early June.

It most mostly a bog on 5/29/2019, alright for running but biking would have damaged the trail. Maybe give it until the weekend to dry up before heading out.

Good hike with a beautiful waterfall at the end. The trail has awesome views of the mountains too. I would rate between easy to moderate, more towards easy though. ✌️

Snowshoeing

Snowshoed here today. It was a nice and easy snowshoe hike with a few switchbacks for an easy and slight elevation gain.

nice, easy trail with plenty of switchbacks. most of the fall leaves are on the ground, so it was pretty bare scenery wise. Would love to do this in the summer or earlier in the fall. Had a few mountain bikers on the trail, but everyone was courteous about slowing down when they got close to us.

Nice and easy. Felt more like a nature walk with a few high steps here and there, but nothing serious unless you're looking for it. I would definitely bring family and kids along. The trails are clearly marked as well, so there shouldn't be any confusion. We went on a Wednesday and the overcast was perfect. Even on a hot day, most of the trails are shaded.

I wish this trail had better markings so we could avoid getting lost! There are several other trails in the area, so it can get pretty confusing.

This felt less like hiking and more like playing Frogger on a bicycle race track. Only twice in dozens was the rule observed "Bicycles stop for everyone." Keep your kids on a short leash or they may get run over.
