This is a delightful trail along the 5150-foot shelf left by the ancient Lake Bonneville. Once you conquer the climb up to the shelf, you have a pleasant walk along the mountainside that is surprisingly level. The view of the city and the sunsets make this a wonderful walk. This portion of the terrace trail starts east of Farmington and goes to Baer Canyon above Fruit Heights.
