Flaming Gorge-Uintas National Scenic Byway is a 95.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Vernal, Utah that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for road biking and scenic driving and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The byway meanders over the eastern flank of the Uinta Mountains and through the Ashley National Forest and Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Fantastic drive with sweeping, beautifully colorful views that continually change around every corner (and the direction you're going). There are also so many hiking and off roading options around every corner. You could spend many happy years exploring this region.

Great drive. Varied landscape. Leads to many hike opportunities. Did in my many trips to Salt Lake. Each year I would new routes off of the interstate.
