Flaming Gorge-Uintas National Scenic Byway is a 95.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Vernal, Utah that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for road biking and scenic driving and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The byway meanders over the eastern flank of the Uinta Mountains and through the Ashley National Forest and Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. View wildlife in their native habitats and experience the "real West" as passed down through western folklore of early explorers, homesteaders, mountain men, outlaws and cowboys.

Great drive. Varied landscape. Leads to many hike opportunities. Did in my many trips to Salt Lake. Each year I would new routes off of the interstate.

Wonderful drive through beautiful country. Flaming George is awsome
