Did this route on 6/13, but modified with cross-over to Draper Ridge atop Cherry Cyn at about 8400 elev. Early morning start beat the heat. It is a steep, steady climb, with only an occasional gentle grade. At top of Cherry Cyn the cross trail to Draper Ridge still has a large snowfield. Better choice is x-country maintaining elevation or slightly gaining until hit Draper Ridge trail. Picking through brush is not too hard. South face of peak is generally snow free. Top of Jacobs Ladder trail looks in rough shape.

STEEP climb ... Excellent way of seeing the East face of the Lone Peak cirque from a lower elevation and that whole area. This route will also take you past the highly recommended and must see Outlaw Cabin! Reprovision what you take! :-)
