No shade, making it super hot. Very sandy at the beginning. Do not recommend.

15 miles out and back to get to Echo Canyon views. Mostly easy hiking on an old road bed, but lots of sand and not much shade. Good views of checker-board mesa and great viewpoint from the top of the driveway waterfall into Jolly gorge.

Beautiful, very sandy in the beginning but better after. Gorgeous views and some steep switchbacks.

Great trail. Somewhat sandy especially near the beginning which requires some exertion. Slight to moderate incline when you get to some switchbacks but overall comfortable for kids. It’s about 3 miles to the Jolley Gulch.

Good trail, really sandy, and almost all uphill. I would recommend going all the way to the creek, not much of a creek, but good view.

Beautiful hike! Started via East Rim trail in Zion for added scenery and mileage. Couldn’t have asked for a better trail. Some sand in the beginning, but not too bad.

This is a very pretty hike. not too streep, but just a steady climb. Never done a hike on this side of Zion. I would do it again. make certain you hike all the way to the stream and Jolley Gulch.
