Fun single track. I like to do it from East wilderness park because then you get a fun, mostly downhill ride back to the car. Lots of hikers on a Saturday afternoon and lots of dogs so had to limit myself on the downhills. Some muddy portions made for challenging climbs today. Good times.

There is a section where some trail construction is going on and it was a little bit rough

Not well marked we took a little detour from the main trail. That said it was a fun little trail.

Nice trail, there is frequent shade and it is faily flat without being boeing. The kids enjoyed it!

Recently moved to Utah from Louisiana. Hiking is becoming a favorite thing of ours. Trail is definitely friendly to all ages. Sun filled no shade. Runs right into Adam's canyon trail with a beautiful little spot by the creek. A lot of bikers so watch out in the turns. No mud or snow as of now (April 22).

Went from Kaysville to Layton to Adam’s waterfall. Kaysville to Layton has medium elevation gain, up to the waterfall was much steeper. Kaysville to Layton has no shade but had a cool bridge along the way.

Good trail. My 3.5yo was able to handle it. There were a few places he had to hold my hand for somewhat steep inclines, but not too bad. My only complaints are: 1- trails aren’t well marked, so we got a little turned around trying to get back to my car... Easily rectified by using the ‘record’ feature in this app to help retrace your steps on the way back. 2- too much noise for my preference. The gun range was loud and traffic noise carried up a bit far.

Mountain biking

Great for everything from trail running to mountain biking, year round. Obviously, snow conditions require the correct gear... but this trail is a great option for all skill levels. It has a number of climbs and descents, but nothing too technical. When we’re not mountain biking, we’re trail running or hiking with the kids.

First to Review

We winter-hiked this trail over to the merge with Adam’s Canyon trail. We wore spikes & needed them in some places. It was a nice 4 miles (we took an “alternate” route on the way in haha) on a nice winter day, but the nearby gun range made the hike not all that pleasant. Don’t take skittish dogs on this one. I’ll bypass this one & stick to Weber County or farther south.
