4X4 trail under Interstate 70 to Dutchmens Arch

We were able to drive all the way back to the highway and even under the highway bridge (tunnel), however soon after that the sand was deep, so we turned around as our vehicle was not high enough. As it was getting dark, we went back on the highway. From i70 west, we stopped on the shoulder and drove until we could see the arch. It is possible to see it from the highway if you know where to look.

Dutchmens arch is visible from I-70 if you know where to look. Take Exit 131 off I -70, and go west (south of the Interstate) and turn right on the second road. Keep right until you get to the Interstate., Go under the Interstate in the 4X4 underpass. When you emerge out of the underpass, take the first road to the left. The arch is on the right less than a mile.
