Dripping Rock Falls is a 0.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Mapleton, Utah that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Super easy, short paved trail. Water runs out of the rocks. Fun to play in and under the water. Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of East Powerhouse Road at the north end of the trail. Both of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is asphalt, smooth, and typically at least 6 feet wide. There is a painted dividing line along the trail which reduces the width. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less) except for one moderately steep (5-8%) uphill downhill section near the turnaround point at the 0.4-mile mark. Wheelchair/mobility equipment or stroller users may need assistance in the moderately steep section or to turn around before it for safety.
Nice trail for a suburb, but not exactly woodsy. Paved all the way, great for bikes. Heavily trafficked, good for kids as long as they aren’t tempted to run off the trail, as the drop off to the river is fairly steep.
Dripping rock is a really cool little spot. If you go to this trail and follow it up a little bit past dripping rock, there it a bridge that the river pools up underneath. there is a small ledge that is great for little kids jumping off of and this last summer me and my friends put up a rope swing under the bridge. would totally recommend.
Great walk. Super slippery on the ice in January but will definitely come back in the spring
Great hike for the family with little kids. Small steep hike to the river to see the dripping rocks. Beautiful.
Trail was great for scooters...end to end! Great sections of shade and open fields, horses and river. Beautiful!
Keep on walking past the Dripping Rock Falls and go across a cool suspension bridge and on up some switchbacks to a reservoir on one side and the golf course on the other side. The 1/2 mile extension makes it more of a hike. Fun trip!
A bit windy this morning but beautiful. Four kids and stroller we had a good time despite the wind
