This was one of my favorite hikes! It’s so diverse and unique. There is some climbing involved, you just have to go slow and you’ll be fine. It was extremely windy when I went, so if you have long hair bring a hair tie and a wind jacket if you have it!

Good hike that takes you off the beaten path. Definitely the hike with the fewest people in my experience.

Fun trail with a cool scramble up past landscape arch. This park is definitely busy with this trail being no exception. Although much less trafficked than others.

Super Trail ! Nous avons adoré. Peut être dangereux avec des enfants à cause du vide. Prévoir beaucoup d’eau en été.

Past Landscaoe Arch: trail markers and cairns were rare if at all. Everyone we met complained about the lack of cairns. Bumbled about looking for the trail frequently! Took way too long to get to Double O. Very interesting side arch trails but ran out of time: sunset is at 5 pm so had to do in and back and not full primitive trail loop. Beautiful views from spine of fins. 12/16/19

Walk all the way to the double arch for sure, really great hike and absolutely amazing views. Took about 4 hours in and out but stopped to take a million pictures.

Moderately trafficked is too generous. The section below landscape arch is nauseatingly overcrowded. Even the “primative” section is what I would call heavily trafficked, especially for a late Sunday afternoon during the off season.

A great trail with super fun hiking and scrambling and fantastic views pretty much throughout with many arches and views of the national park. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because the trail is really not well maintained, meaning that the rock cairns that, at least in theory, should show you the way are often very ambiguous and it was really difficult for me to find the right way at several points. Pointing the way a little better from time to time would make this even better.

One of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever embarked on. A little bit busy, but still beautiful.

Stayed at devils garden campground and rode our bikes to the trailhead. Started about 8:30am and the crowds were very thin. I recommend doing this one early as it gets very busy by mid morning. Landscape arch is great and many people turn around at that point. Do all the side trails along the way to double O. Watch for the cairns to stay on trail, lots of off trail paths seem to have been worn. We covered 6 miles in 2 1/2 hours taking lots of breaks for pictures. Not very strenuous so you’ll have plenty of energy for an afternoon hike as well!! Beautiful scenery!

Fun trail. First section is a bit of a snooze with way too many people on it. Once you get to Landscape Arch it gets a bit more interesting. Keep going past this point and it gets a lot more fun. 3 sections of hiking the spine of some fin rocks. Good panoramic views. Make sure you check out Navajo and Partition Arches on the side trails. These 2 will add an extra mile. If you do just one, Partition is a great view and a good spot to stop for lunch on the back side of the arch. Double O arch has a great little secluded area around it too.

This was a surprise hit- a friend recommended it to me and I brushed it off, boy was I wrong! Walking on the fins was rad and the views from the top were uniquely beautiful. The actual double O arches were cool, but not a show stopper. This isn’t a trail where you won’t run into people, but it’s also not full of folks. Starting in double O and going to Primitive makes for a good loop, but there are some misleading cairns between the end of Double O and the beginning of Primitive. Pretty much stay in the wash and you’ll be fine.

Great trail with amazing views. Would not take our kids out on trail after 10am in August. We started at 9:30 & returned at 1:30 & the last half mile was challenging fir them. Ages 8 & 11, fit.

Went with my parents (50+) and the route was challenging for them. Steep inclined and narrow paths with drops on either side made they nervous. But the views were ABSOLUTELY magnificent and totally worth it to them. The arch itself was cool but only secondary the general scenery. Definitely want to come back

Top 5 favorite hikes.

Great time! Took us under 4 hours. The “primitive” trail part of the loop was definitely easier than the “main trail” which lacks markers and cairns to the double arch! A shame because a lot of people were going off trail on this busier section and ruining the plant life. Hope improvements happen soon.
