An outstanding natural area!
Not really a hike- just a cool place to explore and have fun with friends and family.
fun place to eat lunch and do a short hike. spend 20 minutes. also fun place to take kids. I loved it there when I was younger.
Trail it's self is only .25 mile or so, you can drive the first .4 of a mile. you basically walk around some cool rock structures, you can go any direction you want really, pretty easy stuff
Nice and unpave road on BLM 200 and hole in rock road all the ways. It nice driving off road and easy road in dirt.
Short but beautiful.
This was a fun stop. You can spend as long as you want exploring all of the rock formations. An awesome sight!
Hike the area while on a scout trip. Fun little area
Devils Garden was a fun stop! Easy to get to, the turnoff is marked. There are pit toilets and a dirt parking lot. There is no defined trail that I could see, just a great area to explore. The kids had a great time climbing around on all the rocks and looking through the windows. There's plenty of sand to play in as well.
We visited Devil's Garden coming back from Hole-in-the-rock in July, 2009. It is a most amazing place. It's just a few miles off Hwy 12 on Hole in the Rock Road (right).
This is a perfect place to explore with kids. Metate arch is one of the most interesting arches I've seen.
